Leadership Forum Merges with Acorn Consulting

Leadership Forum Inc., the executive leadership training and coaching organization led by Dr. Wanda Wallace, announced on Thursday that it had merged with Acorn Consulting, led by Peter Wright. The joint practice will be called Leadership Forum Inc. (LFI). LFI helps organizations get it and keep it – by working with people through workshops, off-site meetings, consulting and coaching to improve the following: strategic thinking, insight, and execution; leadership development, coaching and assessment; team performance; inclusivity and diversity; and integrated talent management.

Peter Wright will lead the coaching practice, the integrated talent management practice and is launching the new Executive Assessment business within LFI. The Executive Assessment unit conducts assessment of leadership capacity for career and leadership development, recruitment and team planning.

Co-founder Liam Fahey will remain responsible for strategic thinking and insight. President and CEO Dr. Wallace will continue to focus on leadership development in all aspects, team performance and diversity.

She was previously Executive Vice President at Duke Corporate Education, Inc., Associate Dean of Executive Education at The Fuqua School of Business at Duke Universityand an assistant professor in Marketing at Fuqua.

Dr. Liam Fahey is co-founder and principal of LFI. He has over 30 years' experience working with executive teams developing and executing strategy in a wide variety of industries globally. His books include: Learning from the Future: Competitive Foresight Scenarios (1998), Competitors: Outwitting, Outmaneuvering and Outperforming (1999), and The Portable MBA in Strategy (2nd ed, 2001). He holds a Ph.D. degree fromUniversity of Pittsburgh and M.B.S. and B. Comm. degrees from University College Dublin, Ireland.

Peter Wright is a truly global executive experienced in leading HR functions for some of the world's best-known companies.

He has held senior positions at Zurich Insurance, AIG, Estee Lauder, Merrill Lynch, BP, Allied Domecq and Unilever. He is highly skilled in leading organizations and executive teams through significant growth, crisis and business transformation, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring, organizational transformation and public offerings. Born in London into a military family he attended the British Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and St John's College Cambridge where he earned a Masters Degree in History. He served the first 12 years of his adult life as an army officer in the British Army.
